Welcome to the Arboretum, a truly special corner of Northeast D.C. where the city's hustle fades away, replaced by a serene, green oasis. This quiet, residential spot is defined by its namesake, the U.S. National Arboretum, which is essentially your backyard here. You can spend hours wandering through its vast 446 acres, discovering everything from the stunning National Capitol Columns to the delicate, centuries-old trees in the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum. It’s a place for a peaceful stroll, a family picnic, or simply a quiet moment in nature, all just a stone's throw from the heart of the city.
