Leading Peak is an amazing and challenging hike located on Anvil Island, British Columbia. The hike boasts beautiful 360 degree views of Howe Sound from the summit as well as various scenic points throughout the climb. It is about 5.4 miles in length with an elevation gain of 3,290 ft. You must contact Daybreak Point Bible Camp to gain access to this private property. Conditions on the trail are rocky and muddy with a few steep sections that have ropes for assistance. Allow yourself plenty of time for the hike, as it usually takes around 8-8.5 hours round trip. The scenery is spectacular and the views at Whitespot Lookout are unbeatable; the effort is definitely worth the reward!
