This is, no doubt, Cape Town's most popular beach! I personally would not recommend it if you want to spend a day on the beach, just because it's located right at "the strip" – Camps Bay's main street. That means cars are driving past all day and it's just in general very busy. You can check many of the other beaches here on my guide to find more secluded ones. Camps Bay Beach is, however, nice to watch the sunset or to take an afterwork stroll before you go for drinks or dinner to one of the restaurants along the strip.
