This iconic waterfall can be seen from many angles, all of which you should explore because they are easy to walk to. It is probably the most popular waterfall in Iceland. There is also a cafe here for coffee and lunch. It's only 10 minutes from Geysir.
In the winter time, the paths can be quite icey and the path to the bottom is usually closed however you can still see if from all the above angles. This location is quite busy with tourists so to avoid crowds visit early in the morning or later in the evening if you can.
