Paradise Pool is one of the main swimming holes along Big Crystal Creek and is one of m y favourite spots to unwind and swim in the crystal clear water. The pool area is very large with plenty of space to relax along the rocks and jump into the water below. There are shallow parts along the creek if you just want to chill and cool off.

It's easy to see where this place gets its name from. The water here is some of the clearest I've ever seen for a national park swimming hole. Even as we were relaxing on the rocks, soaking up the sun, we managed to easily spot fish and turtles swimming around.

The campground is located within walking distance of the pools and is a great place to stay for a night or two. Facilities include flushing toilets, cold showers, picnic tables and gas barbecues. Camping fees are $7.25 per person per night and can be booked online through the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service website.
