Goulet Bluff is one of the few coastal campsites in Shark Bay, and we had such an awesome time staying here. The sites right by the water are definitely the best. The beach is made up of tiny white shells instead of sand, which gives it a really unique feel. The water was super calm and protected, making it perfect for a swim or just soaking in the view.

There are a few different spots to choose from, but we’d recommend setting up at either Site 4 or 5 right on the beach. Some of the others can be a bit tricky to access and are more dusty than scenic. Watching the sunset from our camper was such a highlight, and we even spotted some marine life right in front of us along the shore.

Camping here now costs $20 per night and you’ll need a permit, which you can easily grab on the day from the Shark Bay Discovery Visitor Centre or by giving them a call. This campsite has a 1 night maximum stay.
