The Cape Adieu Sunset Dinner Cruise is one of the best ways to experience Darwin’s coastline while enjoying a beautiful evening out on the water. We had the most unforgettable sunset, and pairing it with a delicious four-course dinner made it even more special. The menu showcases fresh regional produce, giving you a real taste of the Top End.
We kicked things off with a raspberry and green ant sorbet which, although it might sound unusual, was actually super refreshing and tasty. The seafood entrée featured prawns, oysters and ceviche. For mains, you can choose between local barramundi or a juicy beef steak. We went with the barramundi and it was cooked perfectly. Dessert was just as tasty, inspired by tropical flavours and a sweet way to end the evening.
The cruise costs $170 per person and goes for around three hours. It departs from Dock 3 at Stokes Hill Wharf at 5pm and returns at 8pm. The four-course dinner is included, however you'll have to pay for drinks separately onboard. It was such a memorable way to soak up the Darwin sunset and try some of the Top Ends best flavours.
