Starting from the bottom of the stairs on the Fortescue Falls trail, you can continue on a short 300m marked path that takes you further upstream to Fern Pool, which features two small waterfalls and is one of the most stunning spots in the park. There’s a wooden deck at the pool’s edge that makes it easy to get in for a swim. The water here is deep, crystal clear and is surrounded by lush green trees and vegetation, giving it a secluded oasis feel.

This spot is located within a national park so you will have to buy a pass which is $17 per vehicle per day or you can purchase a WA All Park Pass for $130 which gives you unlimited entry to any WA park for 12 months (purchase online in advance or at the park entrance).

Fern Pool is a sacred site for the local Indigenous community, so be sure to respect the area while enjoying its beauty.
