Little Lagoon is a beautiful little oasis just outside of Denham, surrounded by red dirt and the vast outback landscape. The water here is shallow and crystal clear, making it the perfect spot to cool off with a swim or set up for a relaxing afternoon. It’s also a great place for photos, especially if you’ve got a drone. Just be mindful of restrictions, as the area borders a no-fly zone.

You can drive right up to the water’s edge on the hardened sand, even with a 2WD, but it’s always worth checking conditions first. The lagoon is also home to some local wildlife and we were lucky enough to spot a few emus cooling off and having a quick bath in the refreshing water.
