It's a great base for exploring the surrounding regions in the outback country. Kar-Rama is only a 10 minute walk to the river where you can hop on a paddle steamer boat and cruise down the incredible Murray River. The Mildura Boat House is also a great waterfront restaurant if you're looking for a waterfront view with your lunch or dinner.
