One of the most iconic swimming holes in NSW is the Never Never River, specifically in the Promised Land. Promised Land road is a loop road so you can take your time driving around to check out the stops along Never Never Creek that interest you most. I recommend turning right onto Promised Land Road first which is the quickest way to access the popular swimming spot. Just after Angel Gabriel Capararo Reserve, head over the small wooden bridge and you'll see a gravel area for parking. There are plenty of little tracks to wander along to find your own spot to swim along the creek.

The water is always so refreshing and crystal clear, with plenty of boulders for you to relax on and soak up the sun. This area feels like you're in a fairytale, filled with magical swimming holes set amongst the lush forest and is a must visit while you're travelling NSW.
