Yardie Creek Trail is a short hike located at the southern end of Cape Range National Park near Exmouth. This easy two kilometre return trail takes less than an hour to complete and follows the edge of a striking red gorge carved out by the creek over time.

Along the way, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of the rugged limestone cliffs and the vivid contrast of red rock against the blue creek below. Keep an eye out for wildlife too, as rock wallabies are often spotted perched along the cliff edges and kangaroos sometimes make an appearance.

The trail is best done early in the morning or later in the afternoon when the light is softer, the colours of the gorge are at their best, and you're not walking in the midday heat. Make sure to bring water and wear decent shoes, as the track can be rocky in parts.

Access into Cape Range National Park costs $17 per vehicle or you can purchase a WA All Park Pass for $130 which gives you unlimited entry to any WA park for 12 months.
