Lake Argyle Discovery Resorts is easily one of the most unique caravan parks we stayed during our travels. You’ve probably seen photos of the famous infinity pool all over Instagram. It's a stunning pool perched high above the lake with panoramic views over the red outback and mountain ranges.
Despite the iconic setting, it’s actually a caravan park which makes it budget friendly and accessible for everyone. There’s a range of accommodation options to suit all types of travellers, from unpowered campsites to luxe lakeview cabins. It’s even dog friendly during certain times of the year, so you don’t have to leave your fur baby behind.
There are plenty of scenic walks right from the park to some beautiful lookouts, or you can hop on a boat cruise to explore more of the lake’s rugged shoreline and go swimming.
Prices for unpowered sites start from around $60 per night, and cabin prices go up to a few hundred depending on the season and style. All guests, no matter where you're staying, have access to the incredible infinity pool, and trust us, there’s nothing quite like watching the sun set over the lake with a swim to cool off after a hot outback day.
This is one of those places that should be high on your list if you're heading through the Kimberley region.
