Four Mile Beach is a postcard worthy beach with a stunning stretch of golden sand, framed by tall palms and tropical waters. For one of the best views in town, take the Flagstaff Hill Walking Trail, which winds up through the headland, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Four Mile Beach and beyond. The beach is large enough with plenty of access points so you can find your own secluded spot to relax for the day.

The water is typically shallow and calm, making it great for swimming to cool off from the humid weather. Although, to stay safe, be sure to swim in the designated patrolled areas and nets as there is always a risk of crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland and jellyfish during stinger season (November to May).
