Le Grand Beach is one of the longest beaches in Esperance, stretching for over 20 km. It’s perfect for 4WDing, as you can drive the entire length of the beach all the way to Wylie Bay. It’s one of the best beach drives along this pristine, untouched coastline.

Vehicles often get bogged here, so make sure to check the conditions beforehand and have the right recovery gear. This beach is also more exposed than others in the national park, which means it can get windy but if you score good weather, it’s absolutely worth a visit.

There’s a campground at Le Grand Beach for $20 per night, which is a great alternative if Lucky Bay campground is fully booked.

Le Grand Beach is located within Cape Le Grand National Park, so you’ll need to purchase a park pass for $17 per vehicle. Passes can be bought online or at the park entry station.
