Frenchman Bay is a hidden gem in Albany that quickly became one of our favourite beaches. It’s the perfect place to pull up in your camper and park right by the water with unbeatable foreshore views at your doorstep. The bay is super calm and sheltered from the wind, making it ideal for a swim or a relaxed lunch by the beach.

It’s often quieter than other nearby spots and has some of the clearest, calmest water around. Just head further down the beach if there’s seaweed near the main area. Whether you’re stopping for a quick dip or spending the afternoon soaking in the view, Frenchman Bay is an underrated coastal spot worth checking out.
