West Beach is one of the first beaches you’ll come across as you’re leaving the main town of Esperance. It’s a breathtaking spot with an amazing view from the elevated car park which gives you a taste of what the rest of Esperance’s beaches have in store. The massive boulder to the left and fringing reef create small, sheltered pockets that are perfect for swimming when the tide is out. Just be cautious of strong rips and currents, as it can get rough.

Keep driving along Twilight Beach Road to continue the 40 km circular loop, which takes you along the scenic coastline to many of the other stunning beaches.
