Gas Bay is one of the nicest beaches near Margaret River. Unlike many of the nearby beaches that have coarse sand, Gas Bay is absolutely stunning, with soft white sand that stretches on for ages and crystal-clear water. It quickly became one of our favourites when visiting Margaret River.

From the car park, take the walking trail that winds around the headland to the left. It’s an easy 5–10 minute walk that opens up to a breathtaking stretch of coastline, often without the crowds.
