Surfside 22 is a beautifully renovated motel with a fun Palm Springs inspired retro feel. The rooms are large, bright and really clean, with a small kitchenette that is handy if you are staying for more than one night.

The location is incredibly central, so you can easily walk into Wollongong city centre or down to the beach, harbour and coastal walking paths. They also have a small plunge pool and sauna for guests to use, which was such a great addition.

Out the front, there is a cute courtyard area and a little coffee van where you can grab a coffee in the morning. It is a great option if you want somewhere affordable and central.
