9 Mile Beach is a popular surf spot and an even better place to take in those classic Esperance beach views. It’s got that signature white sand and turquoise water that the area is known for, and is a great stop along the Esperance coastal loop drive.

If you walk to the far right of the beach, you’ll usually be able to find a quiet spot all to yourself, tucked beneath the white limestone cliffs. When the tide is low, beautiful sandbanks appear, making it ideal for a swim while soaking in the view. It’s also a great spot to escape the north-easterly wind.
