Arthur Bay Lookout is a must visit spot and one of the best viewpoints on Magnetic Island to take in the natural beauty of the coastline. From the lookout you’ll get stunning panoramic views over the turquoise water, giant granite boulders, and fringing reef surrounding Arthur Bay.

To get here, park at the Forts Walk car park or catch the 250 bus from the ferry terminal. From the carpark, follow the Radical Bay Road walking track for around 15 to 20 minutes. Once you reach the bottom and see the signs for the beach entrance, continue slightly further up the road until you spot the sign for Arthur Bay Lookout. The track can be a little steep in sections but is still relatively easy and well worth the effort for the incredible views at the end.

If you feel like exploring further, you can continue along the walking tracks to Florence Bay, Radical Bay, Balding Bay, and eventually Horseshoe Bay. The full route is around 5.4 kilometres and takes roughly 2 hours to complete.
