Rex Lookout is a must-stop spot along the Captain Cook Highway, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the ocean and the lush coastline. Perched high above the ocean, this lookout is the perfect place to take in the dramatic scenery, with endless blue water on one side and rainforest covered mountains on the other.

The drive there is just as incredible, with winding coastal roads between Cairns and Port Douglas. There's jaw dropping ocean views around every bend, so be sure to take your time and soak in the scenery.
