The rock wallabies around Magnetic Island are one of the island’s cutest and most iconic wildlife encounters. You can find them anywhere on the island but you typically always find them at Geoffrey Bay towards the end of the snorkel trail. You'll see them hopping across the boulders and getting up close.

They’re super friendly and used to people. Although many people feed them, it's best for them to forage naturally. However, if you simply can't resist, be sure to only feed them appropriate food which you can get from the Arcadia Newsagency in Geoffrey Bay.

If you don't have a car, you can hop on the bus (route 250) from the ferry terminal and get off just outside the news agency and walk.
