One of my all time favourite stops along this coastline is at Crescent Head. It's a small and cute coastal town with only a few shops. Barnetts Bakery is always the first thing I do when arriving into Crescent Head. They have a large selection of delicious baked goods and donuts which are to die for.

Crescent head is well known for its surf culture and long right-hand break off Killick Beach. It's typically a slow wave so you'll find plenty of surfers of all skill levels, primarily on longboards. Even if you’re not into surfing, the scenic headland walk and nearby creek inlet for swimming make it well worth it.

The section along the river is dogs allowed on lead, while further down the beach they're allowed off lead.
