The Grounds of Alexandria is one of Sydney’s most loved cafés, but calling it just a café doesn’t quite do it justice! Set in a converted industrial space in Alexandria, it’s a vibrant spot where beautifully crafted coffee and seasonal menus meet lush gardens, charming décor, and hidden little nooks everywhere you turn. You’ll find flower stalls, fresh produce markets, and a bakery on site, plus plenty of outdoor seating dotted among greenery and fairy lights, making it an easy place to spend a slow morning or afternoon.
There’s usually a queue on weekends, but the atmosphere, food, decorations and insta worthy spaces are all worth it. The decor is constantly changing and they often have amazing themes, so everytime you visit it's a little bit different! It’s great with friends, perfect for photos, and feels like a little oasis in the city. Remember to check their opening hours before you go, as weekends and brunch service are especially popular.
