This spot in the West Macdonnell Ranges really gives the ultimate outback road trip vibes! It's a must see for sunset when you're travelling through the West Macs. For this photo we used a zoom lens (70mm-200mm) to make the mountains look nice and big. If you have an iPhone and want to achieve a similar effect, have your photographer zoom on x5 and take a few steps back. Now the mountains should look a lot bigger!

This spot is a 10 minute drive from both Ormiston Gorge Campground and Neil Hargrave Lookout Campground so it would be perfect to stay at either of those after you're done taking photos. We stayed at Neil Hargrave Lookout and loved it.

While this spot is free to visit, you'll need a purchase a NT Parks Pass to enter the West MacDonnell National Park. It costs $10 per person for a day pass.
