I stumbled across this gem at Doug Jennings Park by accident as we were exploring the northern beaches around the Gold Coast. There is a breathtaking sandbank surrounded by turquoise waters located at the end of the picnic area. It's a super unique beach on the Gold Coast with island like vibes and a view of the city in the distance. This peaceful spot is perfect for a seaside picnic and is a great place to escape the busier beaches in the region. As this area is protected from the ocean waves, the water is calm, so you can enjoy a relaxing swim.
