Horizons Kangaroo Sanctuary & Camp Ground is a cool spot where you can get up close and personal with kangaroos while camping. It's a chilled-out vibe perfect for a relaxing getaway in nature with an amazing view of the hinterland and ocean in the distance. The place has friendly owners who are passionate about the wildlife. They feed the kangaroos around 7am and 5pm everyday and you'll even be able to help out which is such a special experience.

The campsite has clean amenities, and even a communal fire pit for those cozy campfire nights. The facilities such as the kitchenette and bathrooms with hot showers are basic, but will get the job done for a 1-2 night stay. It's a great budget stay while you enjoy the wildlife and check out the nearby things to do. Prices can change but they are around $35 per night for an unpowered site and $40 for powered. Due to the very steep drive way as you come in, the campsite isn't suitable for caravans.

You can't book online so you'll just have to ring before hand. The owners number is on google which should be (07) 4974 7783.
