Narooma is famous for its playful colony of Australian fur seals, which you can spot lounging on the rocks near Australia Rock and around the entrance to Wagonga Inlet. The best place to see them up close is from the breakwall. Park your car at Australia Rock and you can walk along the breakwall where you'll be able to spot plenty of seals. They are often soaking up the sun or swimming in the clear waters.
