Welcome to Marsaxlokk, a charming fishing village in southern Malta.

The harbor is filled with colorful traditional luzzu boats, each painted with the Eye of Osiris for protection at sea. Visit on Sunday to experience the lively fish market, or enjoy a quieter stroll on weekdays along the waterfront, sampling fresh seafood at local restaurants.

Marsaxlokk has around 4,000 residents and is known for its picturesque harbor, the Church of Our Lady of Pompei, and a small town center with cafés and restaurants. The village has a long history as an important harbor for the Phoenicians and Romans. Nearby, St. Peter’s Pool offers a scenic spot for swimming and relaxation.

Parking is available along the harbor and nearby streets, but spaces fill up quickly on market days.
