What to order:

Go for the roast pork bánh mì. The pork belly is roasted right in front of you in large ceramic barrels, so the skin is properly crisp while the meat stays juicy. It’s packed into a fresh baguette with herbs and pickles and eaten best while it’s still warm.

Why it’s here:

This was one of our favourite bánh mìs in Hanoi, full stop. Watching the pork roast adds to the experience, and the flavour payoff is huge for such a simple setup. It’s classic Hanoi street food done incredibly well.

Tip:

There is limited seating outside so this is more of a grab-and-go spot. Eat it nearby while it’s hot. If there’s a short queue, it’s worth the wait. The pork sells out, so earlier is better.
