The Basilica di San Prospero is dedicated to Saint Prospero and stands as one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks.
Originally built in the 10th century, the church was later rebuilt in the Renaissance style. The façade is especially notable for the six stone lion statues placed along the steps leading up to the entrance.
