The shingle and pebble beach here is backed by grassy, chalk cliffs is 3 miles north of Bridlington. At low tide, a number of rockpools can be found in and around the chalk-reef.
South Landing is also a good place for bird watching. In the summer guillemots, gannets, sand martins and fulmars can all be found here. In the winter there is a chance of spotting eider ducks.
A car park with a picnic site is on South Sea Road. From here it is a steep descent, down 75 steps, past RNLI Flamborough Lifeboat Station to the beach.
