My Experience at Mont Dôme
The Mont Dôme hike offers a fantastic mix of challenge and reward. The steeper section requires climbing over rocks, so I highly recommend starting on that side—it’s much easier to go up the rocks than down.
At the top, you’ll find the famous lookout with panoramic views of the valley, which is especially breathtaking during the fall when the colors are at their peak. While it’s a popular, Instagram-worthy spot and often crowded, I actually preferred the second lookout at Mont St-Michel. It’s quieter, less crowded, and just as beautiful, offering a more serene experience.
This trail is an autumn must-do for its vivid colors and incredible views. A perfect way to immerse yourself in Quebec’s natural beauty!
