Why I Loved Carnaval de Québec
The Carnaval de Québec is the ultimate winter celebration in Quebec City, bringing together locals and visitors for 10 days of snowy fun. From ice sculptures to night parades, this festival has it all. With musical evenings, workshops, and plenty of activities for all ages, it's a winter wonderland you won't want to miss. So grab your tuque and mittens and get ready to party with Bonhomme! We went into the city during Carnaval de Québec to watch the ice canoeing, and it was such an exciting experience! The atmosphere was electric, with teams racing on the frozen river—such a unique and thrilling event to witness. Best part? It was free!
Winter Vibes & City Life
Even though many of the activities at Carnaval are on the pricier side, walking around Old Québec during the festival is always a treat. The city feels alive with winter cheer, lights, and the festive vibe that takes over. You can enjoy the sights, the energy of the crowds, and the beautiful winter scenery without breaking the bank.
