Linlithgow Palace, located in Scotland, was a swanky residence for Scottish monarchs back in the day. It's all fancy with its grand courtyards, cool fountains, and even a tennis court in the garden. James IV and Margaret Tudor hung out there, playing dice and hosting fancy events. Then James V came along, spruced up the place with new gateways and statues, and made sure everything looked top-notch. Mary, Queen of Scots also chilled at the palace, getting her bling on with gold and silver embroidery threads. Overall, it's a historic spot that's seen its fair share of royal shindigs and renovations over the years.
