The Crow & Gate Pub is an authentic English style pub just south of Nanaimo, with Tudor style architecture and pretty gardens. I am British Canadian (moved to BC in 2011) and I can confirm that it has all the dark, cosy vibes that I expect from a traditional country pub. The food menu has a mix of classic British dishes like Scotch egg, Bacon butty, Ploughman's, sausage rolls and meat pies alongside Canadian favourites such as Beef Dip, burgers, chowder and wraps.
