Accessible only by float plane or boat, Hot Springs Cove requires a bit of effort to reach, which keeps the crowds down. Getting there is half the fun! You may even see whales on the way.

From the dock, a 2-km boardwalk (about 40 minutes) winds through lush rainforest to the hot pools. Once there, pick from six naturally carved geothermal pools right by the ocean and enjoy the sound of waves crashing as you soak in the warm, mineral-rich waters.

Boat tours from Tofino cost around $230 per person (6 hours), while floatplane trips are about $375 for the round trip (3-4 hours). Some companies also include an additional $20 Ahousaht Stewardship fee.
