Fräkmüntegg (Mount Pilatus Adventure Hub)

Fräkmüntegg is the mid-station on the Mount Pilatus cable car route — and for many families, it ends up being the highlight of the entire Pilatus day.

Surrounded by forest and mountain views, this stop is packed with outdoor adventures that make it easy to spend a full morning or afternoon here, even if you don’t continue to the summit of Mount Pilatus.

Things to do at Fräkmüntegg:

• 🛷 Pilatus Summer Toboggan Run
  A fast, twisty alpine coaster through the trees — thrilling but family-friendly. CHF 9/ride, discount for children

• 🧗 Pilatus Rope Park (Seilpark)
  Switzerland’s largest rope park with multiple courses for different ages and ability levels. For 3 hours in the ropes park, it costs CHF 30/adult, CHF 22/kids age 8-15. Small discounts for family packages. Small kids can use the PILU Ropes Park for CHF 12/1 hour.

• 🌲 Pilatus Treetop Path (Wipfelpfad) - Free!
  An elevated wooden walkway through the forest canopy — easy, scenic, and great for all ages.

• 🐉 Dragon Glider
  A seated zipline-style ride where you “fly” through the trees like a dragon. Cost is CHF 8 for adults and CHF 6 for kids.
