The Brunni Tickle Trail is a short barefoot sensory path that loops around Lake Härzlisee, surrounded by some of the most beautiful mountain views in Engelberg. You’ll walk over stones, wood, bark, mud and other natural surfaces designed to “tickle” your feet—our kids thought it was hilarious!
Right beside the trail, you’ll find a large picnic area, fire pits and water play, making it an easy place to stop for lunch and let the kids play.
To get here ride the chairlift from Ristis up to Lake Härzlisee, do the Tickle Trail first, and then hiking downhill to the huge playground at Ristis. Along the trail, you’ll find wooden ball tracks, puzzles and marble runs that help keep kids excited about the walk. Wooden balls and treasure maps can be purchased at the Kräuterhütte beside the lake or at the Ristis Berglodge.
