Amodeo Bay, located in Thames-Coromandel District of Waikato, is a beautiful photo location if you're on that side of the Coromandel and heading past at sunset.

There are a lot of rock out crops in this little bay and during golden hour it's absolutely beautiful with the sun going down behind the islands.

There is a small parking bay where you can safely park your car and then walk down onto the shore. It's also a great spot to have dinner or just stop for a break if you're heading further north of the Coromandel.

For this spot I would suggest your wide angle lens (16-35mm) and it works best at sunset.
