Mount Sunday is a great place to step into Middle-earth and enjoy the expansive views of the Rangitata River, mountains, and surrounding countryside. Situated in Hakatere Conservation Park of the Canterbury region in New Zealand, Mount Sunday offers visitors a 1.5km walking track that takes about 30 minutes one way to traverse. It also provided the site location for Edoras in the movie The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers!
