Fossabrekkur
Beautiful waterfall area
Category

Sightseeing

Fossabrekkur is a fertile oasis in the barren pumice landscape, a beautiful location where a river falls off the rocks before joining back together and running in a single channel almost to the sea. It's especially beautiful in the summer time when everything is blooming.

It is quite hidden but still has a parking lot really close to it.

QUICK NOTES:

  • What it is: A waterfall area.

  • Best season: Summer/fall.

  • Best time of day: Any.

  • Nice to know: The road there is good for any type of car but it might be rippled so drive slowly.
