Varadouro historically, it served as a summer retreat for Horta's affluent families and is now renowned for its natural swimming pools and scenic beauty. Today it's a common swimming hole for families. There are 3 swimming holes here. One is a kid friendly pool, second is a natual pool about 10 feet deep, and then another high jumping area into a cove. There is something for everyone here.
