More information:
Silver Falls drops a modest height of about 3‑4 metres over the Browns River, but its charm lies in the lush rainforest setting, towering tree ferns and moss‑covered rocks. The site has historic significance — the valley had been developed for recreational use since the late 1800s, including plantings and a path to the falls. Because of its close proximity to Hobart, it’s a great option for a quick nature escape, family outing or photographic stop. Conditions can become slippery after rain, so hikers should take care.
