Gorgeous little lighthouse, capture it with Mt Taranaki in the background on a clear day

Further information: Cape Egmont Lighthouse is an iconic attraction in Taranaki, New Zealand. Built in London in the mid-1800s, the lighthouse was then shipped and assembled in Mana Island before being moved to Cape Egmont, where it stands today. Visitors will have a fascinating experience traveling along State Highway 45 to view the beautifully lit lighthouse, which has served as a beacon for ships for decades. The stories behind the construction of this remarkable landmark make viewing the lighthouse even more enjoyable.
