7 Day Maui Itinerary for First Time Visitor (Based in South Maui)

This is a good overall itinerary for first time visitors wanting to hit most of the popular spots on Maui and still have some downtime. This itinerary assumes you’re staying in South Maui. If a beach in South Maui is listed (Wailea, Mokapu, Keawakapu, etc.) that’s just meant to be a placeholder for relaxation time. You could go to those specific beaches (they’re great!) or just chill at the beach/pool at your resort.
