A peaceful village above Kranjska Gora, Srednji Vrh offers one of the best elevated views of the Špik Mountain Group. The layered ridges and sharp alpine peaks make this an ideal spot for sunrise and late afternoon light, when shadows deepen the textures of the mountains. A telephoto lens (100–400mm) works beautifully for compressing the dramatic skyline, while a standard zoom captures the traditional alpine houses in the foreground. It’s easily accessible by car (you can park for free in the village), and the open meadows around the village give you multiple angles to work with — perfect for experimenting with leading lines, minimalistic compositions, or atmospheric valley fog when conditions allow.
