What to expect:
Husemersee is a peaceful little lake surrounded by forest, making it one of our favorite hidden nature spots near Winterthur. The calm atmosphere, wooden boardwalks and lush greenery create the perfect setting for a relaxing walk or a quiet picnic away from the crowds.
A circular trail leads around the lake in about 30–40 minutes and is mostly flat, making it ideal for families with young children. Along the way, you'll find several benches where you can enjoy the beautiful views across the water and watch ducks, snakes, dragonflies and other wildlife.
Swimming is nice so Husemersee is a wonderful place to slow down, enjoy nature and escape everyday life.
How to get here:
Husemersee is located near Ossingen in the Zurich wine region.
There is a small free parking area just a few minutes' walk from the lake.

Notes:
It has a huge meadow for playing football or relaxe in the sun.
