Beach

A popular but beautiful beach. It’s a favourite for both locals and tourists and acts as the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park. Like all the beaches up this way, it’s got golden sand and crystal-clear water that makes you wanna dive straight in.

You’ll find heaps of people swimming and chilling here, and at high tide, there’s a little creek that fills up and turns into its own calm beachy area, which is awesome for kids or just floating around. It’s a proper family-friendly spot with a relaxed vibe.

The only downside is the parking. Along the beach, it’s 4-hour parking, which can be a bit annoying if you’re planning to stay longer. There’s a paid car park nearby for all-day parking if you don’t want to clock-watch.
